For more than 11 years, we have been making the world of online shopping a little bit better every day. And in doing so we focus just as much on our users as on our partners. A lot of passion, hard work and constant evolution lies behind everything that we do. All of this would not be possible without the expertise, vision and skills of every single member of our team. What is it that makes us special? The blend of a start-up and a corporate group! We combine the advantages of both worlds and benefit as a result.

Performance Marketing

What is the point of a campaign that nobody sees? Exactly! We have developed a large network of portals and diverse push channels so that we can provide users with the best deals, campaigns and news anytime and anywhere. Our 14 high-reach, international portals enable us to reach lots of users from a wide variety of target groups and with a diverse range of interests. This is supported by social media, newsletters, ads and our attractive advertising spaces.

Content Marketing

Everyone loves a story. And the best stories are those that you are a part of and that tell your own story. This is why we place great emphasis on CONTENT MARKETING. Our content experts write our partners’ stories – according to their particular goal and target group. In this way, we inspire our customers and entice them into making a purchase. No matter whether it’s before, during or after they go shopping. We can offer you many different formats to this end – from articles in magazines, or using videos and podcasts.

Advice portal

What happens when we combine performance and content marketing? A successful advice portal. Or in our case: numerous portals. We combine reach, content and quality. That’s why “Shop better. Feel better.” is not just an advertising slogan but also our philosophy. We perform the role of a daily shopping consultant for our users by not only offering them the best deals but also by knowing how to present these deals to them and also by being able to meet the needs of users on all channels.

Our milestones

2008
Sparwelt.de started as a bargain shopping blog.
2009
The blog is transformed into a portal with new content such as discounts, subscriptions, etc.
2012
SPARWELT goes Content with editorial content enjoyed by more than 1 million users/month.
2013
SPARWELT starts its first high-reach collaborations with large German media companies.
2014
SPARWELT joins the Media Group RTL Germany.
2015
Our first TV spot campaign generates lots of attention.
2016
Content Part 2 – Sparwelt.de now offers many different types of campaign formats and topic areas.
2018
SPARWELT celebrates its 10th anniversary!
2019
SPARWELT is delighted to enter into new media collaborations and its first international presence with a new site in Zurich. SPARWELT and Gutscheine.de are also merged.
2020
SPARWELT GmbH is renamed to Checkout Charlie GmbH. We also launch our first portals in Spain and Italy.
